Michael and Debbie, craft extraordinary wines in the heart of Tasmania’s captivating Coal River Valley. As the stewards of this historical haven, we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with you.

Our journey embarks in 1823, an era that predates Melbourne itself. Uplands was conceived under the watchful eye of John Petchey, a former convict who transformed his life into an entrepreneurial tale. His resilience and reinvention mirror the rich history of Tasmania, a place we’ve come to cherish.

Two weeks ago we decided to visit Uplands Vineyards. It was a great experience. Wine tasting was fantastic, staff was very friendly and helpful 👍 The food van was great 👍 Uplands is settled on a very picturesque piece of land with a nice garden in which we sat with all the other guests .lovely music was played by a local band. We held a private event at Uplands Vineyard which was incredibly successful. Highly recommend for private events and functions. Special thank you to the owners for all their assistance to make the day run smoothly.

Great place to host a Baby Shower! Owners, Mike & Deb were very obliging with ideas and super helpful with setting up. A place to relax amongst the vines and lush green surrounds! Wines are pretty awesome too. We'll be back when planning our next function. Thanks guys ❤
